Sales & Distribution

Reach the right customers — and follow through on sales opportunities.
Connecting an OTA, preparing a corporate offer or sending an introductory email is only part of the work. Conditions must be consistent, enquiries need a response and potential partners need follow-up.

We help independent hotels organise and develop sales across online channels, corporate clients, travel companies and tour operators.

Areas of support

Channels and distribution
Organisation of sales channels, property and room information, rate structures, booking conditions and connections between systems.
The work can include setup, corrections and ongoing maintenance, with technology providers involved where necessary.

Partner research
Identification of relevant corporate accounts, travel companies, tour operators and other potential sources of business.
You receive a researched list of organisations and contacts, with a rationale for approaching them.

Initial outreach and handover
We prepare offers and introductory messages. Where included, we contact potential partners on the hotel's behalf and direct further communication to your designated manager.
The handover records who was contacted, what was sent, responses received and the next action required. An initial message does not automatically include managing the subsequent relationship.
Sales processes and reporting
We help establish how enquiries and potential accounts are recorded, assigned and followed up.
This may involve CRM setup or a simpler tracking system, responsibilities, task schedules and reporting. Activity and outstanding actions should be visible to both the team and management.

Ongoing sales support
Review of activity, responses and proposals, with progress tracked against the plan.
Where the hotel executes the work, reporting distinguishes our contribution from the actions assigned to and completed by its team.

Active sales and account management
Calls, repeat outreach, negotiations and ongoing account contact can be included with dedicated resources.
If the hotel cannot provide the person to do this work, we discuss the staffing or contractor support required before committing to it.

Support built around your hotel

You may need partner research while your manager handles conversations, better processes and reporting, or someone to carry out the sales activity itself.
These are different assignments. We define the resources and responsibilities for each: your team, ours or both.
What the engagement delivers
Depending on the selected modules:
  • Configured channels and consistent sales conditions.
  • Researched partner and corporate account lists.
  • Prepared offers and documented outreach.
  • A process for enquiries and follow-up.
  • Records of activity, responses and outstanding tasks.
  • Regular review of sales progress and priorities.
A contact list is not a sales result, and a signed agreement is not delivered room nights. Reporting makes those distinctions clear.

How we begin

An introductory conversation establishes your needs and the role the team can realistically take. An initial audit establishes the starting position.
We then agree the modules, deliverables and resources, using previous findings where relevant. Ongoing support is arranged monthly; research, setup and other defined assignments are identified separately within the scope.

Clear boundaries

Daily pricing, forecasting and inventory decisions sit within Revenue Management. Website development sits within Hotel Websites & Direct Bookings.
For combined services, each task has a defined owner. Software subscriptions, external providers and dedicated sales resources are identified separately where required.
All initial audits are paid services. Scope and fees are agreed before work begins.

We sign a mutual NDA before work begins or confidential information is shared, protecting your business information and our non-public methods, tools and working materials.
